The Władysław Broniewski Primary School No. 5 in Białystok is located in Podlaskie Voievodship, Poland. Our city, Białystok is known as the “Versailles of the North” because in the centre there is the Branicki Palace, a magnificent baroque building.

Podlaskie is the region known as the Green Lungs of Poland. We are surrounded by some of the oldest forests, the wildest natural marshes and river terrains in the whole of Europe. Namely; the Białowieża Primeval Forest, the Augustów Primeval Forest, the Knyszyn Primeval Forest and the Biebrza National Park.
